Who We Are

Legacy Baskets are gift baskets for new mothers and their children, gifted in name of a child who has passed away. 
In this way, the child who is gone is given a legacy, and assembling the basket aids the healing process for the child's family.
From Jennifer:
When the due date approached I decided I needed to do something to honor my child that I miscarried. The usual suggestions didn't appeal to me, until I came across the idea of a new mother basket. After a lot of heartache I decided to go forward with it, and many tears were poured out as I assembled the basket. I wished to give my Ethan a legacy, and when I donated it to my local hospital to be gifted to a new mom  by "Ethan's Momma" I found a deep hope and love. I had given something truly special to my child no longer with me. The Legacy Basket was born.
Our Purpose
​​As a way to help with healing through the grief process, we wish for families to honor their deceased babies by building baskets of new and handmade gifts for new mothers and their newborn babies. These gift baskets given in the name of a beloved child are a physical way of giving a living legacy by reaching out beyond death to help another.
